Working draft.
This document is a clear-language draft and will be reviewed by a UK solicitor before live payments are accepted. The substance reflects our intent and current operating practice.
Who we are
Looped In Games is a trading name of Julian Coles, operating as a sole trader registered in the United Kingdom. Our trading address and contact email appear at the bottom of every page on the site.
What this document covers
These terms apply to every purchase you make on looped-in.games. Placing an order means you accept them. If something here looks wrong or unclear, email us before ordering.
Ordering
A contract forms when we send you an order confirmation email after successful payment, not when you click "Pay". We may decline an order — for instance if a product is mispriced or out of stock — and refund you in full if we do.
All prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. Prices on the site are the prices you pay; we do not add fees at checkout.
Payment
Payment is processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your card details. We charge at the point of order, including for pre-orders.
Delivery
We post within the United Kingdom by Royal Mail and DPD only. We do not use Evri. Standard despatch is the next working day for in-stock items; pre-orders ship on or near the published expected date — we will email you with tracking when each parcel goes out.
Title and risk in the goods pass to you on delivery.
Cancellation and returns
Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you have 14 days from the day you receive the goods to tell us you wish to cancel, and a further 14 days to return them. You can cancel any order in your account before it ships. Return postage is your responsibility unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect.
Pre-orders can be cancelled at any time before they ship; the full amount will be refunded.
Faulty goods
The Consumer Rights Act 2015 gives you a 30-day right to reject faulty goods for a full refund, and rights to repair or replacement after that. We will work with you to put things right quickly.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law. Subject to that, our maximum liability for any order is the value of that order.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute.
Complaints
If something goes wrong, please email us first. We aim to respond within one working day. If we cannot resolve a complaint, you can refer the matter to the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform or to your local Trading Standards office.
